In- advance- booking programme:

Look carefully at the property:
Take a good look at the photo/s, assessing indoor and outdoor areas. If the photos are not very telling, you can ask the owner to forward other photos.
NOT without a contract
The contract is the best guaranty for both owner and prospective tenant even if the rental period is short.Simple but detailed, the document must include the rent, the intended rental period, description of property (indoor & outdoors) and both initial and final rental dates.
Verification of inventory
As comprised in the guaranty stated in the contract, please verify AT THE BEGINNING of the rental period, that everything described in the contract has been provided by the owner.Any divergent item such as damaged furniture, dirty walls broken appliances or any other damage should be communicated immediatly to prevent future controversies.
Verify if the property is located within a condominium:
Condominiums have their own regulations.Find out the specific regulations for the use of common areas such as the swimming pool, sauna, barbacue area and sport facilities to avoid disturbance.
Check if pets are allowed:
Before signing the contract , verify that pets are allowed.
Rent the house that would host all guests comfortably:
Before signing the contract, specify the number of guests staying during the rental period and make sure they are all comfortably accomodated to avoid trouble with the condominium regulations. You don't want to exceed the allowed number of guests.
And last but not least: Deal with the rented house as if it was your very own!
